Ten months, ten worlds to explore
Every month the whole classroom orbits one theme — the books we read, the art we make, the science we investigate, even the French and Spanish vocabulary. Children go deep instead of skimming, and you always know what's being explored so you can carry it on at home.

What parents ask us most
Is Kidszone Academy a school or a daycare?
Kidszone Academy is a private upper-kindergarten school programme operating from our licensed Mississauga centre. The academy classroom is a dedicated, advanced learning space — physically and programmatically separate from the daycare setting — with its own educators and its own curriculum plan.
What age group do you take?
The academy programme is designed for upper-kindergarten learners, aged 3.5 to 7 years. Exact eligibility by birth date is confirmed when we process your application.
When does the school year run?
The academic year runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. We stay open through the winter holidays and March Break with camp programming, so care doesn't stop when the academic calendar pauses.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The academic day sits inside those hours, with supervised early drop-off before it and after-school care afterwards — all within the same programme, at no extra booking.
Do you follow the Ontario Kindergarten Curriculum?
Yes — in full. All six strands are delivered to provincial expectations. Our enrichment subjects are additional to that, not a substitute for any part of it.
How large are the classes?
Deliberately small, with low educator-to-child ratios. Small group sizes are the single thing that makes individualised attention possible, so we hold them firmly rather than stretching when demand is high.
Are meals provided?
Yes. Meals and snacks are prepared and served on site and are included in tuition — there is nothing extra to pay and no lunches to pack. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements on the enrolment form.
Do you run camps during the school breaks?
Yes — we run Winter Break and March Break camps, so your childcare arrangements don't collapse twice a year. Camp weeks follow a lighter, activity-led version of the monthly theme.
Are your educators qualified?
Staff are verified against Ontario childcare staffing requirements before placement, including Registered Early Childhood Educator status where applicable and vulnerable sector screening. We operate under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014.
What does tuition cost?
Tuition is $500 per month for the full-time programme. There is no registration fee. Every enrichment subject — French, Spanish, ASL and IT — is included, as are meals and after-school care. There are no add-on charges. A full fee schedule is sent with your enrolment package.
How do I secure a place?
